In case you didn’t know…

Following his controversial win over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167 back in 2013, former UFC Welterweight Champion GSP decided to take some time off from Octagon competition, up until he eventually made his return to the cage in 2017 at UFC 217.

On his return to the UFC, GSP won the Middleweight Title by beating then-champion Michael Bisping to win the gold. However, due to numerous injuries, he had to vacate the gold after holding it for just 34 days.

The heart of the matter

During the conversation on the Jim and Sam Show, Georges St. Pierre stated that whenever he trains, he feels very confident, strong, and great. However, that is exactly when GSP starts asking himself if he wants to get back into the UFC after hearing a lot of BS stuff about the promotion. (H/T: Bloody Elbow)

GSP, further added, that he is going to be thinking about his UFC future over the holiday season and eventually make a final decision.

What’s next?

As of right now, the status of GSP’s future in the Octagon is still uncertain and it remains to be seen what the future holds for the veteran.
