Diaz recently lost the BMF title to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 due to a doctor stoppage, and it is hardly surprising to note that the Stockton Slugger was not a happy man after the event.
A frustrated Diaz called out The Rock and was unapologetically critical of the former WWE Champion’s behaviour while in attendance at the event to award the BMF title.
The Rock responded to Diaz’s comments on the most recent edition of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show. The Great One wasn’t stunned by Diaz’s remarks and was fine with what the outspoken Stockton native had to say.
Johnson even added that his close connection to fellow Miami native Jorge Masvidal may have rubbed Diaz the wrong way.

The Rock clarified that he intended to be as neutral as possible in the build-up to the fight before revealing how proud he was with the performances of both Diaz and Masvidal to make UFC 244 the second biggest PPV in the promotion’s history behind Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s UFC 229 show.
