While speaking to Submission Radio, Reyes said that he is prepared for what’s coming his way and is least bothered by what Jones would have to say. According to the Light Heavyweight title challenger, Jones’ trash talk is equivalent to the barbs exchanged between brothers. Reyes called it childish and something that a little kid would engage in.
He claimed that puerile trash talk has no place in a setup where two professional Mixed Martial Artists will be fighting for the top title of a promotion.
Reyes claimed he wasn’t dumb to fall for Jones’ verbal assaults and he will go about achieving his task, and that is to knock out the controversial Light Heavyweight Champion.
Reyes and Jones will be locked up inside the Octagon in the main event of UFC 247 on February 9th, 2020 at the Toyota Centre in Houston, Texas.
The Devastator promises to pose a stiff challenge to Jones, who would be looking to extend his reign as the king of the Light Heavyweight division.
