The prosecutors are seeking capital punishment for Yazeed who is believed to be the person responsible behind he death of the 19-year-old Aniah. Blanchard went missing on 23rd October and her body was later discovered and identified by police authorities in a place near Macon County, Alabama.
After performing an autopsy on the body, the authorities confirmed that she was killed by a gunshot wound and since Yazeed was seen forcing Blanchard inside her car against her will, he is being charged for the heinous act.
Hughes promised that justice will be served and the perpetrators will be punished in a manner that deters anyone from committing such a horrific crime in the future.
