Ranked fourth in the division, Blaydes is a 2012 NJCAA National Champion. The wrestler made his pro debut in 2014 and joined the UFC in 2016. He is 10-3 with the promotion with one no-contest, the losses coming against Francis Ngannou (twice) and Derrick Lewis. Each time Blaydes was on a win streak, the losses kept him just short of a title opportunity.

Blaydes’ last fight was a unanimous decision win against Jairzinho Rozenstruik in September.

Daukaus made his pro debut in 2013. Competing for Cage Fury FC and Ring of Combat, Daukaus joined the UFC in 2020. He is 4-1 with the promotion, his last fight a knockout loss against Lewis in December. Ranked eighth in the heavyweight division, Daukaus was also a police officer until he decided to pursue MMA as a full-time job.
