“I don’t know why y’all booing. D.C. is the champion. Show him respect.”
The fight started out with both Johnson and Texiera going right at each other, trading shots and Teixeira trying to pressure Johnson. The B landed a perfectly placed right uppercut to send Teixeira packing. Johnson went right after Teixeira and the first hammerfist knocked Teixeira out cold. After the fight, Teixeira tried to grapple with referee Dan Miragliotta not realizing the fight was over.
