Uconn Suspends Four Players

The suspensions were reported Sunday afternoon by Dom Amore of the Hartford Courant.

UConn and West Virginia played in the championship game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off tournament.

“Their status will be re-evaluated following the game and when the Huskies return home,” statement from the team read.

Of the four players, only Lubin, a freshman has played much this season. He played about five minutes per game in the Huskies’ first three games.

Calhoun has been out several weeks with a right knee sprain, while Guest, a transfer from George Washington, and Lewis have not yet played in a game for UConn.

Pat Lenehan left the team Friday for a Rhode Scholar interview in New York and has not returned to the team due to a death in his family.
