Undefeated Brazilian fighter Gabriel Bonfim will be taking on Mounir Lazzez in the welterweight division. Bonfim is currently 13-0 and beat Trey Waters in Dana White’s Contender Series via submission in the opening round. The win earned the 25-year-old a UFC contract. Gabriel Bonfim’s future opponent, Mounir Lazzez, has much more experience in the UFC than the Brazilian. Lazzez has fought three times in the organization, beating Ange Loosa and Abdul Razak Alhassan....

Couture had been champion since UFC 28 but was out-muscled by the giant, Barnett. Couture did control the opening round by pulling Barnett into his guard and landing some good shots but the second round saw Barnett’s fearsome striking take over. He reversed an attempt from Couture to enter side control and unloaded with a huge flurry of punches that the champion could not escape. The fight was stopped and Barnett was awarded the UFC Heavyweight Championship....

Dillashaw is about a 7/5 favorite to retain his title with Cruz getting 6/5 as the underdog.
